Ai'ria Moonflare is a textbook-certified girl failure. Girl's got no gil, no prospects, and no bitches. Refusing to deal with her daddy issues, she aims to travel around Hydaelyn, living her best thirty, flirty and thriving life in Eorzea.It's easier said than done, though; why with her awful gambling luck, crippling debts, collectors on her tail and her apothecary business barely taking off due to those ... gracious, generous healers all around the continent, she's not sure how she's going to gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss her way out of this one.

Ai’ria always wondered what it felt like to truly belong somewhere. See, she never quite fit the perfect mould of what her traditional Seeker tribe aspires her to be. She was a sad excuse for a hunter. Instead of honing her skills into something useful for her tribe, she would rather spend her youth attempting to bargain with any traveller passing through the Sagolii Desert for trinkets.Despite being born from a Keeper mother who left her clan to marry into a Seeker’s, Ai’ri did not inherit those cute little sharp fangs nor her mother’s full moon eyes. Much to her father’s pride, and less of her own, Ai’ri bared all resemblance to him instead—her hair reflecting the sun, her pupils slit to shape and her short lion-like tail that mimics his.Love is an intoxication, much like any other substance, and falling deep into it can only lead to madness. That’s what Ai’ria believed her mother was: completely and utterly mad for her devotion towards her husband. They were opposites of each other—fire and water, sun and moon—and collided more often than not. Their love was grand, and their quarrels were monumental. Ai’ri was still young when she found her mother’s limp body, having succumbed to this love’s overdose.When Ai’ria was of age, she decided to leave her tribe. Of course, this ensued a raging argument between her father and her–a bit like those he’d used to share with her mother. In the end—she’s sure for the sake of his own pride—he disowns her. In return, she declares that she wants to renounce her father’s name and claims her mother’s last name, Moonflare. This hilariously leads to another argument over who’s renouncing who before she finally departs, throwing her hands in the air, much like any teen girl who was over arguing with her father.Ai’ria adapts to Ul’dah relatively easily for someone who had been raised quite secluded, perhaps due to most of the travellers she met, or maybe she was just a natural in this environment. Ai’ria manages to swindle an apothecary to teach her the ways of alchemy, working under them as an apprentice until she finds her own footing. She might have also fallen in love with the Golden Saucer and the thrill of gambling. She spent a few years in Ul’dah, and although she found many joys in the city, it was not her final destination–merely a stop. Her destination was New Gridania, her mother’s home.Ai’ri always had a vivid picture in her head of how she’d be greeted by her mother’s tribe, and she’d played it over and over again since she was little. It’d be bittersweet, for she’d have to deliver the news of her mother’s untimely demise, but the tribe would welcome Ai’ri into their arms regardless. After all, she was her mother’s daughter despite her physical appearance that mirrors her father’s. And finally, she would feel that sense of belonging—(Disk Scratch Noises)—Uh yeah, that didn’t happen.After her [redacted] encounter with her mother’s tribe, Ai’ri decides that belonging is overrated anyway. Who needs a family? There was so much of the world to see, people to meet, and—of course—shopping to do! And maybe gil to be made, but she’d figure that part along the way.

I love friendship plots. While I'm open to friendship developing naturally, I'm also open to having pre-determined friendship between our characters. Maybe they knew each other from their travels already, or they're friends who frequent gatherings together.CHILDHOOD FRIENDS
If your character hails from the Sagolii Desert, maybe they and Ai'ri could have known each other in their youth and were childhood friends. Always down to play out childhood friend reunions, and what not.Additionally, characters from Ul'dah would also work for old friends who used to know each other when she was living there a few years ago.SIBLINGS
Cousins, siblings and so forth are also a welcomed idea! I tried to keep things as pretty open ended and vague, and I'm willing to weave and plot to make it work!EXS & OHS
Ai'ria has had her share of relationships throughout her life, but something has always ended them. This could be due to the partner, or due to Ai'ria's deep fear of intoxicating love. I'd be down to discuss some (angsty), (toxic) or (friendly) ex plots.

I can adjust accordingly to match my rp-partner. The word count doesn't matter to me as long as there is juicy content I can work it!○ I can do both discord and in-game. Although, I am new at in-game rp, so please bare with me ( ; w ; )!○ I like a balance between going with the flow & pre-plotting. First meetings are great, but sometimes it can get real repetitive.STYLE○ As you can tell from my writing, I like humor, adventure and slice of life.
